As a former CCNA that is getting prepared to renew his credentials, I found this book to be very useful. Being rusty on certain aspects of the test can slow you down and there is definitely a time limit on the test, as well a hefty price for the attempt. So, getting the practice from all the labs in this book has really helped me feel prepared to take the CCNA test with confidence.

I can read all the theory I want, but when it comes down to it, I need to practice or I'll never learn the concept. Paul Browning has created an excellent set of labs that gives you hands-on experience. The labs are excellent and the book covers all the concepts you'll need to pass the CCNA.

At first, his material was like rain in a desert, but suddenly, in every lesson, more and more, he tells you to go search through previous parts of his book for the solutions you need. What the hell ? I bought three of his books so as to make this test easier for me, and now I'm searching everywhere in his book and I'm not even so sure about what it is I'm looking for. Thanks for the "run-around" Paul. I won't buy your books anymore.

Otherwise, you will spend a great deal of test time trying to sort out a best answer. 101Labs Cisco CCNA is a must do.

There is also much experience to be gained from setting up the labs incorrectly and trouble shooting the configs till the lab works, in this way there is much real world appliance.
