Very useful - great photography

Jerry Jenkins use of multi-level combined imaging makes this the best photographic plant guide in existence. The images pop off the page. Hugely useful and instructive.

Wonderful pictures - excellent information. A must have for your horticultural library!

The extraordinary photography is very high resolution. The Photographic Guide's organization makes it easy to identify any tree or woody plant in the Northern Forest. This is not only a tool for conservationists but also anyone who wants to know more about the landscape they are in. The amount of work that went into this publication to gather species for photographing must have been immense.

Nothing like this before! This guide is incredibly easy to use. The photos are gorgeous and helpful at the same time. The photos of buds and stems are simply incredible. This is a reverent celebration of the plants that surround us and will be good mood medicine in the wintery months. The size isn't perfect for a backpack. I bring my leaves and twigs home when I want to identify them.Melissa
