I have every cookbook written by John Ash, and this matches them for great information. I find his recipes thoughtfully conceived , practical and generally delicious.

I clearly enjoy this cookbook. It is well written and the recipes are easy to follow. I would recommend the book to anyone who enjoys cooking poultry

It is a very good cook book with lots of different ways to fix chicken and accompany dishes.

This is the 3rd John Ash's cookbook that I have purchased. I really love the first two. This one is pretty good but not as good as the other two. Several of the recipes are redundant to ones I already have (not only in his other cookbooks, but in others I have). I also do not know why there is a section on eggs.

Like, I SO do NOT need anymore cookbooks: I have a huge library including some noteworthy ones dedicated to chicken or poultry. But, this caught my eye at my Costco, and there was just SO much good, great, material in it, I took it home "just to look at it"...and kept it! The book is beautifully produced, with a generous amount of excellent photography....not of ALL recipes, but many. The author/s really know their material and really know how to assemble a usable cookbook.There are a wide array of truly interesting recipes:classics and international, with nice inclusion of Asian, italian, Greek, French, and other recipes, well done. Chef John Ash is able to somehow retain authenticity while making the recipes accessible and, easy...at least in my opinion. Some recipes have ingredients some folks may find hard to get, depending on where they live and such (not a problem here in N. Cali, but I see this issue come up alot in reviews), but there is such variety that folks should find plenty to work with: it may help if your local grocery stocks good basic asian condiments like fish sauce and such. The recipes cover chicken, turkey, and also some for quail, and other game birds; the majority are chicken.Although I have many of the recipes in other books, I find the versions in this book are fresh, new, insightful, and creative . The "Chicken Avgolemono with root vegetables" is a great version of the classic Greek egg/lemon soup. The Asian rotisserie chicken salad is super easy and delish; love the lemongrass chicken recipe, and also many of the salads are just awesome. There is also posole bianco... (Mexican hominy soup usually made with pork, appears here in a wonderful chicken version)... easy to do if you can get a can of hominy! Also, very cool chicken with red wine and orchiette/little ears pasta (you can use other shapes)....totally excellent. The pesto-stuffed turkey breast offers up a fantastic pistachio pesto recipe, but he notes that regular pesto can work fine. Turkey tetrazinni, turkey piccatta, turkey picadillo tacos, Italian Wedding Soup: all these and MUCH more made this cookbook a must have for my household. (Note: we do not eat beef or pork, so relish great recipes for birds/game). Chef John Ash also offers up alot of useful tips as "sidebars" throughout, like a GREAT. Info section on egg knowledge, how to make your own creme fraiche, and so much more.I highly recommend this book....fun, interesting, accessible, awesome recipes. Well done!

Everything I could ever want to know about poultry is included in this book. The recipes are incredible, the pictures and recipes look delicious! A poultry encyclopedia

No surprise here. I have a number of Chef John Ash's books; they're clear, concise, engaging......and the recipes hit the mark every time. I've received a lot of compliments over the years for 'my' great cooking thanks to Chef Ash.

Wow. What a woman. This book is good not just for married women (or married people), although if you are a woman in an unhappy marriage, this could be extremely helpful for you. This book is good for ALL Christians, married and unmarried, male and female. This woman is clearly a saint, and she shares what is essentially the secret of life for all of us: dying to self for the good of the other. Don't miss this story.

I love this book.. I have read it once, but decided to read it again.. The second time around has even caught my deeper attention stronger than the first time I read it..I am so amazed at what deep love and faith Elisabeth Leseur grew into as she continued her prayers and asking God for greater faith, love and humility.Her writings have given me greater courage to act upon my own faith, and trust deeper in God for all that I think I need, and what I truly need as He knows it. Her practical admonitions are simple but certainly require Grace to be lived out!The prologue by her spouse is as much a treasure to read as her own work. It is a true life story that paints a picture of love lived out to the fullest!

I can not say enough good things about this book. Elizabeth seems like the woman friend that I've never had. She's a real person, with all the faults and foibles that come with that condition, yet she manages to become a truly great example of what it means to live as a Christian. Can't wait to get to heaven (with the help of this book) so I can meet the author in person!

Really overpriced. This woman was definitely holy but I just don't care for how her husband comes across, before and after his conversion. Maybe just me.

There are many married women today seeking holiness in their lives as wives and mothers. This is a book for them! They will find profound and useful spiritual direction in the words of Elisabeth Leseur, whose love for God gave her a steadfast, faithful and fruitful love for her husband. I can't recommend this book highly enough to women who are seeking holiness in their vocation of marriage.

Very beautiful and poetic writing. I find it inspiring. Good reading to draw one nearer to God and reflect on how all our actions and thoughts should be made for His glory....even if not noticed by others.

Nice large designs for seniors!

These are great for seniors or for anyone that just wants easy coloring. With seniors, I use Egg-oh hand grips with Crayola markers and a whole world is opened up for them, even with arthritis.

I bought it a gift to grandma with gel pens and she love it so much , I think it's perfect for seniors because they have a large space for coloring , Thank you .

It's perfect for my mom, Alzheimer's patient.

These are nice, simple, mandala designs drawn largely for children with coloring skills and also perfect for senior citizens with poorer eyesight and a less steady hand. The paper is thin and white. The mandala designs are large and uncomplicated but attractive. They really come to life with color. Perfect for pencils or crayons. Pens and markers will bleed through the thin paper .

I bought this for a friend with eyesight issues & he loves it!Highly recommend

Mr. Wall lays out the straight story on teaching ESL in some of the best countries in which to do so. I wish I had read this before I went to teach ESL in Japan. There's lots of uncertainty about your first ESL job, and this book answers the questions most new ESL teachers will have. Don't just accept the answers of the employers who are trying to hire and perhaps (god forbid) cheat you. Three bucks is not much to pay to arm yourself with the essential information about teaching in these countries, all in one place. I just wish Mr. Wall had added a section on China!

Embarrassing. The author taught English? I feel sorry for his students. His spelling and grammar is atrocious. This book has no credibility at all since, for example, the author doesn't know the difference between "your" and "you're". Even my Thai students grasped this with ease.

This book has some very useful content about countries he may have taught in. However, the author is lacking in many basic English spelling and grammar skills, which makes it difficult to believe he is indeed an English teacher who has taught in several countries. Frankly I couldn't even read it. I had to skim through it. The use of "they're", "their", and "there", as well as the difference between "to" and "too", are unknown to the author.I think it's great for people to share their experiences with others to help those who are interested better understand how "the system works" (basically what I felt the author attempted to do in this work). However, this particular author also wrote a section on Japan, a country which (according to his "about the author" section) he has never lived in. Since I was recently hired to teach in Japan, and picked this book up for the soul purpose of learning about ESL teaching in Japan, I was very disappointed.

The book is arranged in chronological order, beginning with Roosevelt's "The Natural Wonder of the Grand Canyon" (May 6, 1903), and ending with Barack Obama's Election-Night Speech (November 5, 2008). While a good deal of the speeches are political, some cover social topics, such as gender rights and religion. Perhaps one might question a few of the selections, but I'm not going impose my own personal opinion on that on the rest of the world.
